A masterpiece of winter outerwear designed to survive in extremely cold battlefields during World War II--
This is an actual U.S. Army "M1942 Snow Parka" made in the 1940s. This over parka combines camouflage and wind protection in polar and snowy regions, and was a practical piece of equipment issued to many units as winter gear on the European front. This is a dead stock item that has remained unused since that time.
This product has a reversible design that can be used both front and back, with the front in khaki drab (OD) and the back in snow white in a two-tone configuration. The design that allows switching depending on the situation was a highly functional experiment in the 1940s, and is a masterpiece of military outerwear that embodies the fusion of "camouflage and functionality" on the battlefield.
The most distinctive feature is the real fur trim on the cuffs and hood. This detail, which keeps body heat in while preventing wind and snow, is a lifeline for soldiers on missions in extremely cold regions, and is still highly popular today.
In addition, the original size label remains unused and is in miraculous condition.
The yellow paper tag clearly reads "SIZE MED," which is an extremely valuable detail that indicates the item was either stored or never distributed. The texture of the fabric, the sewing, and the condition of the fur make it a superb piece of clothing that can almost be said to have never been used. The fur has some stains from storage.
The spacious construction was originally intended to be worn over a liner or cotton jacket, making it a versatile piece that can be worn as a coat in today's fashion.
The silhouette and presence of this wartime practical equipment that still radiates freshness can be said to be the epitome of vintage military aesthetics.
This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
