Introducing the actual silver tiger stripe with direct embroidery of the ARVN rank insignia, name, and credentials. The shirt is Asian cut, one button general pattern. The Tiger Stripe pattern is specified with a fabric that was produced in large numbers during the first and second half of the Vietnam War, known by collectors as Tadpole or TDS. We call it Silver Tiger. The size tag remains and reads A-M. The ARVN division patch is sewn on the arm, but it is a replica. The name, paratrooper insignia, and rank insignia of Captain ARVN are directly embroidered on the collar. The overall color is slightly faded, but the camouflage pattern remains beautifully before the color turned white. Only the base dyeing has lost color and looks white. There are no scratches or damage to the large. The embroidery is subdued and sewn on, so it matches the camouflage color. You will enjoy a slightly different tiger stripe.
