This poncho liner was produced by The Counterinsurgency Support Office (CISO), which was set up during the Vietnam War to support irregular warfare and other equipment. As you can see from the stamp, it was made in Japan, probably in mainland Japan, not Okinawa, and was made in 1967. It has never been used and is in very good condition. The poncho has a plastic snap button closure on both sides. This item was released by a former Special Force member and comes with a photo of him holding this poncho as proof. The return policy for actual merchandise applies, but we will only accept returns and refunds if we are dissatisfied with the authenticity of the item, as it comes with documentation to prove it. Please contact us prior to purchase for additional photos or questions. This is one of the more expendable items made by CISO and would make a very interesting addition to your collection. It is very lightweight and folds up small, so it must have been very useful. Please feel free to add it to your collection if you like.
