Also known as a bomber jacket manufactured in the 1950s, this jacket has a B-15D boa converted to a wool rib. Originally it has the same boa as the B-15 series, but this one has been removed. The B-15 series started with the B-15 in 1944, followed by the B-15A, B-15B, B-15C, and finally the B-15D. The MA-1 was also developed at the same time, and the MA-1 and L2-B were used for a long time as successors, leading to later flight jackets such as the CWU-45P and 36P.

The zipper on this item is defective as it does not mesh well. The zipper has probably been replaced. The ribs have been replaced with wool ribs, similar to the MA-1 as reported earlier. The zippers on the arm pockets are missing and the ribs are in pretty good Used condition with many repairs. The base of the right sleeve is slightly detached, visible from the back. USAF decal, typical of the 50's, and the lining is almost the same color finish, not orange. The item is not in perfect condition, but it is for those who like used condition. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
