This is an early pattern Gold Tiger striped shirt manufactured in the mid to late 1960s. This is a rare early Gold Tiger shirt that is not the strong brown type that easily fades to gold and yellow, but the green color is lighter and only the black stripes remain. The patch is sewn on, and the 9th Infantry Division patch is sewn on for the first time in terms of the condition of the shirt and after sewing. Tiger stripes with patches are very rare and this shirt is in excellent condition.
The shirt is in very good condition with strong fading throughout and it is easy to see why it is called the Gold Tiger. There are no buttons missing and the color faded as it was worn, making it understandable that the shirt was in this condition during the war. The size stamp is M. The shirt is a US cut with 2 button pockets and bandage pockets. A very beautiful shirt. Couldn't be a nicer Tiger Stripe shirt. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
