We are pleased to announce the arrival of an actual vintage USN traditional G-1 military flight jacket. This jacket is a natural leather and mouton-colored jacket of the official military standard MIL-J-7823C/D/E series, also known as "G-1". Size: 42 (actual size shown separately), estimated to be a lot from the 1960s or early 1970s, in original condition with a deep sense of taste. The material is supple horsehide leather with a real mouton (boa) collar, a classic style. The G-1 is a legitimate flight jacket that was long issued to Navy airmen.

On the front left chest is the "Submarine Squadron Sixteen" patch. This is the emblem of a unit belonging to the U.S. Navy Submarine Squadron, which existed from the World War II period through the 1960s and beyond (*The exact date of adoption of the patch has undergone multiple changes, but it looks dated enough to be combined with a 1960s G-1). The patch design is a classic circular embroidery using the iconic motif of the Submarine Warfare Unit, reinforcing the vintage feel. These examples with actual warfare unit patches are popular with collectors as proof of actual unit affiliation, rather than just a commercial patch.

The color of the mouton (boa) on the collar is a light brown, which is typical of the original at that time. The leather surface has some scuffs and paint chips due to age, but the leather material itself has not deteriorated significantly and is in good condition to be worn. The G-1 is an item that symbolizes the naval air force after World War II, and even today it is a universal design that looks good in town use. It is a valuable piece of clothing not only for vintage military enthusiasts but also as a fashion item. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
