This is a tiger stripe shirt from the 1960s, a pattern sometimes referred to as the CIDG pattern.

The CIDG pattern is characterized by a rough print and relatively stiff fabric. The pattern has many differences compared to other Japanese tiger stripes, so it is possible that it was made in Vietnam or neighboring countries, such as Thailand or Taiwan. There are many examples used by local soldiers in Vietnam, and while many of them are small in size, this is a relatively large size. When the color fades, it turns white overall. This is a relatively rare pattern.

The overall color has faded to white and there are red stains. Condition with a sense of use. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
