This is a 1960's Tiger Stripe shirt, sometimes referred to as a CIDG pattern, with a US Special Forces patch attached. It is very rare and all of them are first time attached items. They have been modified to have both side widths spliced together. Late War fabric is used, which suggests that this is a Tiger Stripe shirt worn in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Very nice alteration marks.

The CIDG pattern is a rough print and the fabric is relatively stiff. Since there are many differences compared to other Japanese-made Tiger Stripe shirts, it is possible that this shirt was probably made in Vietnam or a neighboring country, such as Thailand or Taiwan. There are many examples used by local soldiers in Vietnam, and while many of them are small in size, this is a relatively large size. When faded, the overall color turns white. The overall appearance is clean and the color remains, but there are several repairs and a few stains. This is a relatively rare pattern. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
