The actual OG-107 utility shirt contracted in 1967 and issued to the U.S. Navy's Construction Engineer Corps "SEABEES" is now in stock. The SEABEES insignia stencil is still firmly in place on the left breast pocket, and the "U.S. NAVY" name tape and "BUTLER" personal name tape are also sewn on in their original state. Like the previously introduced shirt, this is an extremely valuable piece that appears to have been actually used by the same person.
The tag reads "SHIRT, MEN'S, COTTON SATEEN OG-107" and the DSA number "DSA-100-67-C-0059", which identifies the year of manufacture as 1967. The material is cotton satin, which is comfortable to the skin, and its used texture gives it a rugged appeal.
There is a small damage on the back near the right shoulder, but overall the item is in very good condition considering its age, with no missing buttons. The faded green texture has an austere quality that only vintage shirts can have, enhancing the perfection of this shirt as a military shirt.
This item is not only for SEABEES fans and U.S. Navy collectors, but also for those who pursue realistic military style.
