The M-65 Field Parka (a.k.a. Mods Coat ), a masterpiece that boasts the strongest cold-weather performance and presence among the successive generations of outerwear of the U.S. military, is further specified with a rare M-51 liner. The royal equipment of cold-weather specifications is delivered in a fully equipped condition across different generations. This item was released by a movie costume company.

The condition is used with fading and signs of use. The same applies to the liner and hood.

The outer shell is genuine with "PARKA, EXTREME COLD WEATHER" notation. It is made of wind and water resistant cotton/nylon material, has a distinctive fishtail design, and comes with a detachable hood (with synthetic fur), making it a complete garment with the original specifications. It is a LARGE size based on the tag notation and has a roomy silhouette for layering. The shell is a brass zipper lot, 1972 contract.

Of note is the M-51 parka liner attached to the inside; while not for the M-65, but for the even earlier generation M-51, it fits true to size and is completely functional. Although the overall condition shows signs of use and repairs, the rugged atmosphere of a real military liner is in full bloom. In fact, this "worn look" enhances its value as a fashion item.

This practical set-up embodies the layering structure that has evolved for survival in the field. We recommend it to anyone who wants to acquire "real" cold-weather gear this winter. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
