The DSA number (DSA-100-1294) indicates that this is an actual vintage item from the early to mid-1960s.
The most distinctive features are the large gusseted cargo pockets on both thighs and the drawcord at the hem; the 2nd model has exposed buttons on the pocket flaps, which is more functional than the earlier (1st) model.
