This is an OD work jacket made of HBT (herringbone twill) fabric used by the US Army in the 1940s. This jacket was used for training and combat uniforms in tropical regions. It differs from USMC jackets of the same period in its thicker fabric and large breast pocket. The buttons are 13-star ARMY metal buttons. The size tag is present, but no inspection tag remains. It is close to unused but has some signs of use. The color remains dark and clean. There are some stains. There are no missing buttons or repairs.
