This is an actual Japan Jacket, estimated to be from the early 1950s. It is a very unique jacket with different colors and embroidery on both sides that can be worn reversibly. It was sold as a souvenir to the American soldiers who were stationed in Japan at the time, and later unsold and used items became popular in Japan as well.

This jacket has a very rare embroidery motif. The front has a powerful design of an eagle and dragon facing each other, and the back has a tiger motif with the same motif embroidered on the chest. Piping is a characteristic of early Japan Jackets, and this jacket also has piping. This jacket also has piping, but only on one side. Unfortunately, the piping has been repaired by hand and the open zipper is damaged. The satin fabric has some wrinkles as it has probably been washed once. The cotton inside is also uneven. It is not in perfect condition, but overall it is a very nice item, including the design. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
