This is a release from our archives. This bag was the sample for the Silver Tiger Locally Made Bag, which is currently available for pre-order. It is estimated that the Zig Zag pattern was developed around the same time as the early Okinawa Tiger pattern, and for reasons unknown, not many of these bags were used in combat, but were distributed around bases and in tailors and souvenir stores. This bag is a lot of thin material. There are also thicker fabrics used for clothing, so there are variations. The fabric is in almost new condition with little fading or discoloration. It bears the owner's name and the handles are made of paracord. They are wrapped and sewn with tiger fabric. Those cords remain inside and there is no lining inside the bag. The bag was probably manufactured by a suit tailor, not a bag specialist, so the sewing is not well done and the finish is poor. Originally, this bag was made by the same person as the Okinawa Tiger Boony, which we are selling at the same time, and there was a note that it was ordered at a tailor in Kanatake. We brought the items to Okinawa and confirmed that the Zig Zag pattern fabric was distributed in the mid-1960s by a tailor near Kanatake-cho, Okinawa, and was used for USMC souvenirs because of the proximity of Camp Hansen. It seems to have been used for souvenirs of the USMC because of its proximity to Camp Hansen. At the same time, tour jackets and soubanine jackets were also distributed by the USMC. Therefore, it is assumed that many of some Okinawan-made Tiger Stripe Okinawan items were manufactured in Kanatake. This boonie is part of those items and is a great privately sourced item. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.

The size is roughly 34 cm (length), 44 cm (width), and 21 cm (depth).
